GIULIO ONESTI OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTRE
– FOOTBALL – 

The Acqua Acetosa “Giulio Onesti” Olympic Training Centre is located in Rome’s northern sector within a 25 ha wide green area equipped with both indoor and outdoor facilities. This sports center is perfect for several outdoor disciplines and consists of five soccer fields, three rugby fields, one grass hockey field and two diamonds for baseball/softball. As for indoor activities, there are volleyball and basketball courts, one multi-purpose court for volleyball, handball, badminton and other disciplines, two gyms for artistic gymnastics, three equipped gyms for fencing, weighlifting and taekwondo in addition to four regular gyms. The centre also hosts an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 mt.,8 lanes), one 25 mt. Long, 14 mt. wide, 5 lane swimming pool and one diving pool with the following equipment:

– 1 platform Mt. 5,00
– 1 platform Mt. 7,50
– 1 platform Mt. 10,00

In addition to this, there are also two football fields with artificial turf, three football fields with natural grass, 3 rugby fields with natural grass, 1 field hockey pitch with artificial turf. Altogether, gyms and swimming pools cover a 15000 m² surface. Changing rooms are equipped with lockers and showers, and the whole area is wheelchair accessible.

The Olympic Training Centre has five guest houses, granting 200 lodgings in 98 rooms. All rooms  are equipped with WI-FI, TV and minibar. Guests can also enjoy a self-service area and a 80 seat restaurant.

OSTIA FEDERAL SWIMMING CENTRE
– SWIMMING –

The Ostia Federal Swimming Centre started its activity in 2009 and soon became an important training centre for national swimming, water polo, open water swimming, synchronized swimming and lifesaving teams. The centre is also used for teaching purposes by the Italian Swimming Federation. Apart from the more competitive sphere, this venue is also open for swimming schools and recreational swimming. The complex, facing the sea, has a 50 metres open air pool with mobile float, a 33 metres long indoor pool with mobile float, one gym, one guest house and classrooms. Some of the most relevant events that were hosted in this venue are the National Summer Swimming Champioships, the National Team Championship – Fallen of Bremen Cup, the Italian Water Polo Cup, the Water Polo Youth Championship, the Italian Synchronized Swimming Youth Championship and the Italian Master Championship.
